Custom Flight Case

Custom flight cases provide durable protection for equipment that must travel frequently or operate in demanding environments. Designed and manufactured to precise dimensions, they protect valuable items from impacts, handling damage and environmental exposure during transport.

The internal packaging is what protects the contents. CNC routed foam inserts are designed to match the exact footprint of your equipment, keeping items secure, organised and protected throughout storage, transport and repeated use.

How it works

Every project starts with a detailed discussion about your product, destination and timescales.
We’ll gather dimensions, weight, details on fixtures and fittings, and transport method (road, sea or air), along with any inserts required. If needed, we can work from technical drawings or arrange a site visit to assess the item in person.

All our custom flight cases can be fitted with 10, 25 or 50 mm foam to protect your goods, as well as having the ability to have custom dividers or sections machined to your exact specifications.
The lids of our custom flight cases can be fitted with egg shell foam, CNC foam, an organiser or lined with hex board or foam to protect your equipment whilst in transit.

Your case is built at our dedicated in house facility and is constructed using a robust material, held together using aluminium extrusions, steel corners and steel hardware designed to survive frequent heavy impacts.
Our standard external case colours include: Black, Black Hex, Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Green, Purple, and Stucco Silver.

We can offer a delivery service for your flight cases with our in-house dedicated vehicles ensuring direct transport to our company.
For larger orders or orders further afield we can arrange drop offs through one of our partner delivery companies.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are custom flight cases used for?

Custom flight cases protect equipment during regular transport and handling. They are widely used for tools, instruments, electronics, and specialist equipment.

Can flight cases be built for specific equipment?

Yes. Custom flight cases are designed to match the exact size and shape of the equipment, ensuring a secure fit and reliable protection during transit.

What materials are used in flight cases?

Flight cases are commonly constructed using durable panels, reinforced edges, and secure hardware to handle repeated transport and demanding conditions.

Why are foam inserts used inside flight cases?

Foam inserts secure each item in place and prevent movement. CNC routed foam can be designed around the equipment to absorb impacts and keep components organised.

Which industries use custom flight cases?
